My Desktop, My rules (2025)
My Desktop, My Rules is a project which praises the Chaos Desktop. Everyone has a choice when it come to desktop order, yet a disordered files are viewed as negative. This disorder can become art and design, instead of a system which is solely used for order.
This publication investigates the idea that Chaos breeds creativity and will specifically be looking at the Chaos of disorganized files. Chaos files open a world of playfulness and innovation which fuel the creative process in ways which order cannot. Rethinking and reusing untraditional mediums to create design also allows us to not rely on Adobe and retake ownership of our work.
